Millos Kaiser (Selvagem)

Certain Music Records are back with another edition of Certain Club, their second visit to berlinClub after last year’s session with Jayda G.

This time they’ve travelled to Brazil to bring us Millos Kaiser, member of Selvagem, the duo of DJs, producers and boat-rockers from the vibrant Sao Paulo scene.

Millos Kaiser is one of those DJs that loves seeing the whole dancefloor go crazy over songs that you’ve never heard in your life. He centers a large part of his work as a digger in the tireless search for these hidden gems, those dancefloor burners that never made it out of the dark corners of the record stores of the past. Always pulling from the enormous and varied Brasilian musical tradition (in its most Disco, Boogie, Cosmic and Synth-pop sides), some of these hidden jewels were selected for his complication “Onda de Amor - Synthesized Brasilian Hits That Never Were (1984-1994)”, edited on the Soundway label.

Alongside Augusto Olivani (Trepanado), Millos is half of Selvagem. Over the last 10 years, both have created the so-named party, with innumerous events in Sao Paulo along with tours through the USA and Europe. Of these, we especially remember their huge sets at Dekmantal Festival in Amsterdam in 2017 and 2018.
